for a journal entry: fav.me/d7w5kgz. Most of the tripods i broke in various mishaps between 2005ish and 2010, with the exception of the brown one, which was my room-mates' at the time.  resized in photoshop. the lesson to be learned here: cheap tripods=not worth it if you plan to use them a lot
